Standing up for the truth of chiropractic
June 14, 2004

Dear Doctor:

Most of you know of my longstanding respect for Bill Esteb of Patient Media, who produces classy, clever and creative user-friendly patient education materials.

But at the last quarter’s Masters Circle seminars, we had another patient education giant present to our members – Dr. Tedd Koren of Koren Publications. Many of you know Tedd as the chiropractor who took on the federal government – the FTC targeted him as a primary source of chiropractic information, and attempted to bring him down by challenging the validity of his pamphlets, charging that they were filled with fabrications and unsubstantiated claims.

As you no doubt already know, he and his able attorney Jim Turner stuck it up their noses, and all charges were dropped, suggesting that they would never darken our door again with their witch-hunting and misinformation. They got their butts kicked by the truth of chiropractic, now proven to be above reproach by those who question the value and efficacy of chiropractic care.

What you may not know is that Dr. Koren has compiled books of research articles, not only addressing a multitude of conditions that were demonstrated to respond to chiropractic care, but also pertaining to wellness and quality of life. In my opinion, these anthologies should be part of every chiropractor’s toolbox.

Tedd has a particular vendetta against vaccination, having investigated the detriment of the mandatory artificial immunization program. No longer relegated to the ranks of the extreme, these issues have spiked a public interest, causing questions to be asked about the consequences of this type of shotgun treatment for very young children. He has taken it upon himself to create an exceptional product, a complete how-to package for speaking on the dangers of vaccination.

It’s a no-brainer to participate in spreading the word about vaccination – in the middle of Tedd’s presentation, my son Jeremy (my audio engineer at seminar) turned to me with tears in his eyes, and thanked me for not subjecting him to that. How many kids aren’t so lucky, and isn’t it time we did something about it?

It’s our responsibility to inform ourselves and our constituents about such health concerns. Stand up for the truth of chiropractic – it will build your practice and make the world a better place.
