Sometimes I scan the papers, looking for articles that Dr. Hoffman could include in his Chiropractic Clipping Service, a superb way to educate patients with popular press documentation. At seminar in LA, I spotted two stories that pushed me to the limit.
The first said that the NIH was considering restricting how much money drug companies could pay the researchers who were studying their drugs. Suggesting that it may be a conflict of interests, they thought it might be better if they limited the “consulting fees” paid to the “scientists” who were deciding on the validity and safety of those medicines.
The second was on the front page of the LA Times, describing how parents whose children were rendered autistic after vaccination were assembling a class action suit, stating that the drug companies knew the dangers of mercury and other poisons in the vaccinations they manufacture, and should be held accountable for it.
What kind of a crazy world has this become? The drug companies pay scientists who are supposed to be objectively assessing their products for the public good? Children’s health is risked by applying unsafe procedures to them by law?
The only thing that can clean up this mess is massive grass roots education, led by chiropractors, rallying all health and wellness practitioners and enlightened patients to the cause. We cannot allow this scourge of un-naturalism to injure us any longer – yet, without a monumental effort, the current machine will be difficult to dislodge.
That’s why we must take every opportunity to promote our message – however many times a day you spread the word, do it once more. This really is an emergency – toxic thinking and action is epidemic. Someone has to step up, tell the truth and turn the tide.
