February 2007
January is in the can, and now you have some early returns on your first plans of the New Year – how did you do? Does it look like your expectations are being played out, and you need to stay the course or accelerate? Or was your feedback something less than excellent, and you want to re-evaluate and change direction in some way?

The good news is that February holds many opportunities for growth –snow-shoveling classes to avoid injury, best snowman contests, homecoming for college students, and for those of you who live in warmer climes, you can always tap into Valentine’s Day promotions, President’s Week celebrations, and pre-spring checkups for weekend warriors.

The bottom line is that you can get your practice on track by investing time and energy into attracting more new patients and serving them well. Putting good numbers on the boards in the first quarter gets your new year off to a great start, generating momentum and good feelings for the whole team.

So, if you are on target, push and enjoy! If not, then re-direct and tackle the new challenges with enthusiasm, passion and your best attitude. If your office is waiting for a leader to show up, then take charge and be that leader.
