Chiropractic Practice: The Hidden Asset Right Before Your Eyes

Hello everybody, and welcome to Thrive In Five. I’m Dr. Dennis Perman from The Master Circle Global, and I’ll be your chiropractic coach for today. This session is entitled The Hidden Asset Right Before Your Eyes. And what I’m going to talk about today, of course, is your staff. Now I know some of you are going, “Oh no, Dr. Dennis, don’t talk about staff.” No, no, no. This is exciting because the number one thing that interferes with your ability to help as many people as possible is friction. And one of the best ways for you to eliminate friction is to have smooth office procedures with highly trained, committed, dedicated staff who execute exactly as you plan so that you can be free to do the things that only you can do. So one of the key friction busters with your staff is proper training and making sure that everybody knows exactly what’s expected of them.

Now there’s another great asset with staff and it has to do with persuasion. It has to do with engaging your team to be able to help you generate new patients. The fact that a matter is, you know a certain number of people, but your staff knows plenty of people you don’t know. And many of them are immensely capable at persuasion if you only do a little training and help them understand the incredible value of getting more and more people into chiropractic care.

Now the third piece of the puzzle is passion, is energy. And it’s critical that you engage your team by making sure that they feel a sense of passion and energy around the practice. They say that some people have a job, some people have a career, and some people have a calling. Now to the degree that you help your staff embrace chiropractic care and your practice as a calling, that will help you generate the energy and the passion that you desperately need.

Now the fourth piece of this is a bit more esoteric, but it’s no less important. It’s to make sure that the vibration of your practice is attractive. And this incorporates all three of these elements we’ve spoken about before, to make sure that the office procedures are smooth and professional so that you have reduced or eliminated the friction in the practice, to train your team in communication skills so that they can pick up on the opportunities to persuade, and then to generate the passion and energy to be able to make sure that everybody on your team knows exactly why, what your sense of purpose is, what the reason is for people to come in.

Then you activate that all by having enthusiasm, by having a potent vibration that drives all these things to completion. Now what you may not realize, if you haven’t been coming to our seminars, is that friction, persuasion and passion are the three elements that we’ve spoken about at our spring seminars the last three years. This year, especially, we’re going to be talking about passion when we meet in Orlando, but you’ll be getting some emails and some texts, some marketing about that before too long.
